Beauty Base Zero

So, sometimes when I am super bored or cannot decide what kinda outfit I wana wear, I pilfer through blogs looking for cute new stuff and stores to wreak shopping havoc upon. I came across a blogger challenge started back in November, and I just had to jump in. This challenge isn’t like most. Instead of seeing how awesome you can make an outfit, this challenge focus’s on how you look prior to making that outfit. Portia came up with this after reading the Hunger Games Trilogy, Catching Fire. (BTW it is amazing….) So what exactly is a beauty base zero?

It means my nails are perfectly shaped but not polished. My hair soft and shiny but not styled. My skin smooth and clear but not painted. * Mockingjay, The Hunger Games*

It’s where you start, imagining your nails are perfect, your hair is tied back and you’re staring into a mirror, or your closet, wondering what the heck you’re going to wear today.”

Here is my Beauty Base Zero…

I almost always start an outfit in this way. Minimal Clothing (sometimes just nude) my hair off my face mainly, and no make up. I never take my bracelet off. That is always on me (well almost always). My lashes are my SL staple. I feel naked and I look weird with out them. I dont wear a TON of make up anyways in SL or RL, unless I am going to an event or for a blog post where I need a lil extra VaVoom. What is your beauty base zero?
